Community Standards
1. Our Approach
ImOnHere is built to give creators a professional place to bring together their online presence while helping visitors find authentic, useful and lawful creator profiles. We want creators from a wide range of legitimate industries and communities to be able to use the platform, but everyone using ImOnHere must do so responsibly.
These Community Standards & Acceptable Use rules apply to creator profiles, profile information, images and assets hosted by ImOnHere, usernames, links, destinations, communications with us and any other use of the Service.
2. Be Authentic
Do not impersonate another person, creator, brand or organisation, falsely claim an affiliation, create a deliberately misleading identity, or use another person's name, image, branding or intellectual property without the necessary rights.
Parody, fan and commentary profiles may be permitted where lawful, but they must not be presented in a way that is likely to mislead people into believing they are the official person, brand or organisation.
3. Keep Links Honest and Safe
A link should take visitors where they would reasonably expect it to go. Do not use ImOnHere to distribute malicious links, malware, phishing pages, deceptive redirects, credential-stealing pages, fraudulent offers or destinations designed to mislead or harm visitors.
We may block, disable, warn about or remove links that we reasonably believe create a security, fraud, legal or user-safety risk.
4. Illegal and Prohibited Activity
You must not use ImOnHere to promote, facilitate, organise or direct people to illegal activity. This includes fraud and scams; trafficking or exploitation; child sexual abuse or exploitation; non-consensual intimate material; unlawful sale or distribution of controlled or prohibited goods; credible threats or incitement to violence; malicious software; or other activity prohibited by applicable law.
You must not attempt to use ImOnHere to evade sanctions, court orders, law-enforcement restrictions or other legal requirements that apply to you or the relevant activity.
5. Children, Exploitation and Sexual Safety
Any sexual content, sexual service or sexualised material involving a person under 18 is strictly prohibited. We also prohibit content or links involving child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexual exploitation, trafficking, non-consensual sexual material, sexual extortion, or material that appears to sexualise minors.
Where we become aware of material that may be illegal or present an immediate safeguarding risk, we may preserve relevant information and report or disclose it to the appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.
6. Sensitive and 18+ External Destinations
ImOnHere is not a content-hosting service or content marketplace. Creators may, subject to these rules and applicable law, link to lawful independent third-party destinations, including some services intended for adults. ImOnHere does not host, sell or process payments for sexually explicit creator content. Any underlying content, purchase, subscription, communication or transaction offered by an independent third-party destination is provided by that third party and is separate from ImOnHere.
We may label a link or profile as sensitive or 18+, display a warning before a visitor continues, limit how it is surfaced, restrict access by age or territory, or require additional information from the creator where reasonably necessary.
A lawful external destination is not automatically guaranteed acceptance. We may restrict a destination where its presentation, business model, payment flow, legal status, safety record or other circumstances create unacceptable risk for ImOnHere or its users.
7. What You May Not Host On Your ImOnHere Profile
Profile assets hosted directly by ImOnHere must be suitable for the profile service. Do not upload sexually explicit imagery, graphic sexual material, illegal content, graphic violence intended primarily to shock, malicious files, material that violates another person's privacy, or content you do not have the right to use.
A profile image, biography or other hosted profile asset may be removed or restricted even where an external link to a lawful destination would otherwise be permitted.
8. Harrassment, Threats, and Abuse
Do not use ImOnHere to threaten, stalk, harass or intimidate another person; encourage targeted abuse; publish private information for the purpose of harming someone; or make credible threats of violence. Criticism, disagreement, satire and robust expression are not automatically prohibited. Context matters, and enforcement should focus on genuine abuse, safety risks and unlawful conduct rather than ordinary disagreement.
9. Fraud, Scams and Deceptive Practices
Do not use ImOnHere for fake giveaways, advance-fee scams, investment fraud, romance scams, impersonation scams, fraudulent fundraising, deceptive subscription practices, fabricated endorsements, manipulated payment instructions or other schemes intended to obtain money, credentials or property dishonestly.
Do not artificially represent yourself as verified, endorsed or officially affiliated with ImOnHere or another organisation when you are not.
10. Intellectual Property
Only upload or use names, logos, images, text and other material that you own or have permission or another lawful basis to use. We may remove or restrict material following a sufficiently supported intellectual-property complaint and may take action against repeat infringement.
Creators are responsible for the rights needed for material they publish and for links or representations they add to their profiles.
11. Spam and Platform Manipulation
Do not use automated or deceptive methods to create large numbers of accounts, scrape or harvest information contrary to our rules, generate artificial engagement, interfere with analytics, manipulate ranking or discovery systems, evade limits, send unsolicited bulk communications through any ImOnHere feature, or otherwise disrupt the normal operation of the Service.
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, probe, attack, overload or circumvent security or access controls except where expressly permitted by law and by an authorised security-testing programme.
12. Search, Recommendations and Discoverability
Public creator profiles may be displayed, indexed, categorised, searched, recommended or otherwise surfaced through ImOnHere discovery features. Inclusion in any particular search result, category, recommendation or discovery surface is not guaranteed.
Creators can hide their profile from public ImOnHere search and discovery using the relevant visibility setting. Hiding from discovery does not necessarily disable the creator's direct profile URL unless the profile is separately unpublished, deactivated or restricted.
We may exclude or reduce the visibility of profiles or links from particular discovery surfaces where appropriate for safety, age suitability, relevance, integrity, legal compliance or the operation of the Service.
13. How Long We Keep Information
Where ImOnHere offers verification, verification is intended to help establish authenticity. It does not represent an endorsement of a creator, their opinions, their external content, their products or services, and it does not guarantee greater reach, ranking or recommendation.
Attempting to obtain verification using false, stolen or misleading information may result in verification being refused or removed and may lead to account action.
14. Enforcement
Depending on the circumstances, we may take one or more actions including issuing a warning, requiring a change, applying an age/sensitive-content notice, disabling a link, removing hosted profile material, reducing or restricting discovery visibility, temporarily suspending features, suspending an account or terminating an account.
We may act without advance notice where reasonably necessary to address an urgent safety, security, fraud or legal risk. In other cases, we may give a creator an opportunity to correct a problem before stronger action is taken.
We may consider context, severity, intent, recurrence, risk to users, legal obligations and previous enforcement history. Repeated attempts to evade enforcement may result in stronger action.
15. Reporting Concerns
Users should be able to report a profile or link that they reasonably believe violates these standards. Reports should include enough information for us to identify and review the relevant profile, link or conduct.
For general reports, use the reporting mechanism provided on ImOnHere or contact support@imonhere.com. For urgent safety or legal matters, the final website should provide an appropriate dedicated contact route once confirmed.
16. Appeals and Mistakes
We may provide a way for creators to ask us to review an enforcement decision where appropriate. An appeal does not guarantee that a decision will be reversed, but we should correct decisions where relevant information shows that action was taken in error.
17. Changes To These Standards
ImOnHere will continue to develop, so these standards may be updated to address new features, risks, legal requirements or types of misuse. The current version will be published on ImOnHere.com with an updated date. Material changes may be communicated to account holders where appropriate.
18. Relationship With Our Other Policies
These standards form part of the rules governing use of ImOnHere and should be read alongside the Terms of Service and Privacy & Cookie Policy. If a specific product or promotional feature has additional rules, those rules may also apply.
