Privacy Policy
1. About This Policy
This Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how Content Creator Technologies Ltd, trading as ImOnHere (ImOnHere, we, us or our), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit ImOnHere.com, register your interest, create or use an ImOnHere account, publish a creator profile, use our analytics or other features, contact us, or otherwise interact with the Service.
For UK data-protection purposes, Content Creator Technologies Ltd is the controller of personal information described in this Policy unless we specifically state otherwise.
2. Information We May Collect
Depending on how you use ImOnHere, we may collect the following categories of information:
Account and registration information - such as your name, creator/display name, email address, login and account identifiers, account status and preferences.
Public creator-profile information - such as your profile name, username, biography, profile image, categories, public links, social/platform links and other information you choose to publish.
Subscription and transaction information - such as plan, subscription status, billing history and payment-related references. Payment-card details may be collected and processed directly by our payment provider rather than stored by ImOnHere.
Usage and analytics information - such as profile views, link interactions, traffic/referral sources, approximate location derived from network information, timestamps, browser/device information, IP address, and interactions with the Service.
Technical and security information - such as logs, authentication events, device/browser data, security signals, fraud-prevention information and diagnostic information.
Communications - information you provide when contacting support, reporting a problem, responding to surveys or communicating with us.
Marketing and preference information - such as whether you wish to receive product news, launch updates or marketing communications and your cookie/tracking choices.
3. Where Information Comes From
We primarily collect information directly from you when you register, create or edit a profile, choose settings, subscribe, contact us or otherwise use ImOnHere. We also collect technical and usage information automatically when you interact with the Service, subject to applicable cookie and tracking rules.
We may receive limited information from service providers that help us operate ImOnHere, such as authentication, hosting, security, analytics, email and payment providers. If future features allow you to connect an external service, we will explain the relevant data use at or before connection.
4. How and Why We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
• Create, authenticate and manage accounts;
• Provide, display and operate creator profiles;
• Provide links, analytics and other requested features;
• Operate public search, recommendation and discovery functionality for public profiles;
• Process subscriptions and administer plans or promotional entitlements;
• Communicate about accounts, support, security and material service changes;
• Send marketing or product updates where permitted;
• Personalise and improve the Service;
• Measure performance and understand how ImOnHere is used;
• Prevent fraud, spam, abuse and security incidents;
• Enforce our Terms and Community Standards;
• Comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. Our Lawful Bases
Under UK data-protection law, we need a lawful basis for each purpose for which we process personal information. Depending on the activity, we expect to rely on one or more of the following:
Contract - where processing is necessary to provide an account, profile, subscription or another service you request, or to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
Legitimate interests - where reasonably necessary for interests such as operating and improving ImOnHere, securing the Service, preventing abuse, understanding service performance, supporting users and providing appropriate public-profile discovery functionality, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
Consent - where the law requires consent, for example for certain marketing communications or storage/access technologies. You can withdraw consent where consent is the basis relied upon.
Legal obligation - where processing is necessary to comply with a legal requirement. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we will assess and document the relevant interests and impact. The precise lawful basis may depend on the final implementation of a feature.
6. Public Creator Profiles and Discoverability
ImOnHere creator profiles are designed to provide creators with a public online presence. Information you choose to publish on a public profile may be visible to anyone who can access that profile. This may include using your public creator name, profile image, biography, categories and public links to help people find and discover creator profiles. We keep this description deliberately broad because the ways in which public profiles are surfaced may develop over time.
You may choose to hide your profile from public ImOnHere search and discovery using the applicable account visibility setting. This does not necessarily make the profile private: someone with the direct profile address may still be able to visit it unless you separately unpublish, deactivate or restrict the profile.
Independent search engines or other third parties may retain cached or indexed copies for a period after you change your ImOnHere visibility or remove information. Their systems are outside our direct control.
7. Creator Analytics
ImOnHere is designed to provide creators with analytics about activity relating to their profiles and links. Depending on the plan and features available, this may include counts and trends relating to profile views, link interactions, referral/traffic sources, approximate visitor location and analytics history.
Where possible, analytics should be designed to provide useful aggregate insight rather than unnecessarily identifying individual profile visitors. However, technical information such as IP addresses, identifiers and device/browser information may be processed in generating, securing or measuring analytics.
Analytics may be affected by visitor consent choices, browser settings, blockers and other technical or privacy controls.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
ImOnHere may use cookies and other storage/access technologies such as local storage, pixels, scripts, tags or similar technologies. These can be used to keep the site functioning, maintain sessions, remember preferences, protect accounts, understand service usage and, where applicable, support analytics or other optional functionality.
Some technologies are necessary for the website or a service you request to work. Other technologies may require your consent or another legally permitted mechanism before they are used. Where required, optional technologies should not be activated until the appropriate choice has been made.
Cookie categories planned for the site:
• Strictly necessary - security, authentication, session management and essential functionality.
• Preferences/functionality - remembering settings and choices where applicable.
• Analytics/performance - understanding use of ImOnHere and improving performance, where legally permitted and subject to the required controls.
• Marketing/advertising - only if such technologies are actually deployed, and subject to the applicable consent and transparency requirements.
9. Marketing Communications
If you register for launch updates or other marketing, we may use the contact details you provide to send relevant ImOnHere news, offers and product information where permitted by law. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing message or by contacting us.
Service messages that are necessary to administer an account, security issue, subscription or material service change are not treated as optional marketing merely because they are sent by email.
10. Payments
If you purchase an ImOnHere paid service, payment processing may be provided by a third-party payment provider such as Stripe. The provider may collect payment-card and billing information directly under its own privacy terms. ImOnHere may receive transaction references, payment status, plan and billing information needed to administer your subscription, accounting and support.
ImOnHere does not process payments for the underlying creator content, products or subscriptions offered through independent third-party destinations linked from creator profiles.
11. Who We Share Information With
We may share personal information with carefully selected service providers where reasonably necessary to operate ImOnHere. These may include hosting and infrastructure providers, email and communications providers, authentication providers, analytics providers, security/fraud-prevention providers, customer-support tools and payment processors.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to regulators or law-enforcement bodies where legally appropriate, to protect legal rights or safety, or in connection with a genuine corporate transaction such as an investment, reorganisation, merger or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of selling it for money to data brokers.
12. International Transfers
Some providers used to operate ImOnHere may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism, such as applicable adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards, and supplementary measures where required.
You may contact us for further information about safeguards relevant to your personal information.
13. How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing the Service, maintaining security and fraud records, resolving disputes, meeting accounting/tax requirements and complying with legal obligations.
Retention periods vary by category. Account information is generally retained while an account remains active and for an appropriate period afterwards. Support, security, billing and legal records may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary. Public profile information removed by a creator will be removed from active display subject to technical processing time, backups and lawful retention requirements.
14. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their account credentials and tell us promptly if they suspect unauthorised access.
15. Your Data-Protection Rights
Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis used, UK data-protection law may give you rights to request access to your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request erasure, restrict processing, receive certain information in a portable format, and object to certain processing.
You have the right to object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting processing already lawfully carried out before withdrawal.
Some rights are not absolute and may not apply in every situation. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. To exercise a right, contact us using the privacy contact details below.
16. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we use personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Information about making a complaint is available from the ICO's official website.
17. Children and Age-Restricted Features
The final account age policy must match the actual eligibility rules in the Terms of Service and product design. If ImOnHere permits users under 18, additional privacy information, safeguards and age-appropriate design considerations may be required. Age-restricted or sensitive destinations must be handled in accordance with the Terms and Community Standards.
18. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to ImOnHere, our technology, providers or legal obligations. The current version will be published on ImOnHere.com with an updated date. Where a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice where appropriate or required.
